The Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine (Animal Clinics and Reproduction) offers opportunities for post-doctoral activities (post-doctoral internship) for professionals with doctorates.
The activities must be linked to a research project and a work plan to be developed by the researcher together with the PPG. This project and work plan must be supervised by a professor from the Program.
The internship request must be made through the PPG email (mpv.cmv@id.uff.br) and must contain the necessary documentation. Requests will be forwarded for evaluation by the Course Board. If approved, researchers will be registered in the UFF Graduate System (Sispos) and will receive a registration number.
The availability of postdoctoral scholarships varies according to the research project, and it is up to the supervisor to obtain them, as well as to obtain the resources necessary to conduct the research project to be developed.
In addition to developing their research project, the researcher will be responsible for contributing to the development of other research projects within the group in which they are part of, as well as assisting, or even teaching, subjects to be offered in the Graduate Program.
To complete the post-doctorate, the researcher must submit a report on the research project, as well as the productions generated, through his/her supervisor, for evaluation by the Program Board. Once the report is approved, the researcher will have his/her declaration issued by the Program coordination.
