STUDENT SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process for the Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine (Animal Clinics and Reproduction) is held annually, and vacancies are offered in the Program’s two research lines. Applications can be made by holders of a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
Applications will be carried out remotely (online) and in Portuguese. Registration in the selection process implies the candidate’s agreement with all items established in the Notice for carrying out the selection process.
For the master’s degree, the selection process is divided into two stages, both of which are eliminatory. The first stage consists of a knowledge test on scientific articles previously sent to students and a translation and interpretation test of a technical scientific text in English. The second stage consists of the submission of the pre-project to be developed during the course.
In the case of the doctorate degree, which also consists of two phases, the first stage is the assessment of the student’s knowledge in two languages (English and Spanish). The second consists of the presentation and evaluation of the research project in the desired area, followed by an oral argument, with an eliminatory nature.
TEACHER SELECTION PROCESS
As provided for in the Program’s Strategic Planning, we are making available a Notice aiming at the re-accreditation and accreditation of professors to work in the Graduate Program every two years. The next selection process will take place in 2025, with orientation beginning in 2026.
